The box can actually be used to make phone calls, receive messages, manage a calendar, listen to the radio, contact relatives, and access to personalized informations or services . These multiple functions are accessible via a very simple swipe card system. This system is also flexible according to the desires of users.

Set up your interior

With the Ubibox system, Ubiquiet can also realize your home automation. The box can be connected to your home electronic and mechanical devices in order to automate some of the home equipments. For example, it is possible to imagine self-sealing roller shutters or an automatic start of heating below a certain temperature.

Elders' families will soon grow addicted to the Ubibox. Reassured to know their parents helped in any case of trouble, the families will appreciate being able to easily keep contact with their grandpa or grandma through the web application - accessible from any computer and including sending messages to the senior and enter appointments for them in the calendar.

Ubiquiet is currently considering the possibility of connecting the iPad to the Ubibox in order to send pictures and video.
